Personal Training Should Be Just That – Personal
What comes to mind when you hear the term ‘Personal Trainer’?
Some kid with fake tan, a tight t-shirt and his eyes firmly locked on himself in the mirror instead of what he should be doing – coaching you??
Yeah, me too. I kind of hate the term ‘Personal Trainer’ for that reason. But I can’t get away from the fact that technically, that’s still my job title.
But personal training to me isn’t the typical, run of the mill, ego driven service you would expect from the majority of PT’s. My priority is you, your goals and how to best get you the results you’re paying for.
Coaching to me is more than your standard 1 hour session of a few reps on this and that. It’s the intelligent, thought through education of someone to be able to move properly, contract muscles to their fullest potential, and eventually for you be able to design, build, and execute your own training and nutritional programmes without my help.
All this being said, I’m well aware my programmes aren’t for everyone. There are no physical pre-requisites to training with me. Male or female, young or old. However, I am only interested in coaching people that are committed and highly motivated towards achieving an incredible level of results.
