About DC Personal Training

The standards of personal training in Doncaster are shockingly low.

Trainers don’t turn up on time for sessions (or at all).

Trainers are too busy scrolling through TikTok or Instagram to give a damn about how your technique is or how hard you’re pushing yourself in a set.

Trainers promise you a diet plan or exercise plan – and leave you for months on end waiting for the finished product, that sometimes never even arrives.

I’ve been in the trenches working 1-1 with clients for over a decade, and I’m sick of seeing hard working people let down when they finally push themselves to make a positive change to their health and to their life.

It’s time to raise the standards of personal training in Doncaster.

When I was growing up, the greatest gift my Dad ever gave me was to demonstrate the relentless pursuit of excellent standards in everything he did.

He wasn’t a gym bunny or meat head. He was an ordinary bloke, working hard to put food on his family’s table.

But whether it was his work ethic, his parenting or anything else – he always held himself to the highest possible standards.

That’s why DC Personal Training is named after him – my Dad, Dave Clements.

I chose this name to remind myself and every single member of the team here at DCPT the most important part of everything we do, holding ourselves to the highest possible standard.

Our mission is to change the lives of the people we work with, and raise the standards of personal training in Doncaster for good.

Meet The Team

  • Andy Clements

    Andy Clements

    Andy is the owner of DC Personal Training Ltd. With over 12 years experience working on a 1-1 and small group basis. Andy opened DC Personal Training in July 2024, after successfully running his previous business, Andy Clements Fitness for over a decade. His mission is to raise the standards of personal training & health coaching in Doncaster, helping ladies over 40 to look, feel and move better – without sacrificing their entire lives to the gym or a diet.

  • Bailey Westerman

    Bailey Westerman

    Bailey is one of our amazing ladies group coaches and the head of our men’s only over 40s group programme!

    Bailey has been with us since we first opened in July 2024, and has worked with lots of men & women helping them drop weight, revitalise their health and regain their confidence.

    Bailey began his journey with an incredible 40kg weight loss in his own body, before moving on to helping countless men and women achieve similar transformations.

  • Brad Ashman

    Brad Ashman

    Brad is one of our most experienced and accomplished coaches at DC Personal Training. Beginning his career in 2013, Brad has coached hundreds of men & women to change their bodies and improve their lives.

    Brad also holds a degree in psychology and has worked tirelessly to raise awareness and provide support for people’s mental health.

    Brad also has pushed himself to the limit physically – having completed a gruelling iron man in 2019. Safe to say, he’s somewhat of a strength and conditioning expert.

    Since moving into strongman competitions, Andy has sorted my diet out, given me strength goals to work towards every week and my strength has improved drastically. My deadlift has improved by 120KG, and my bench and squat have improved by 40-50KG as well.

    From training with Andy I have an actual goal for every single session. I no longer go in the gym and throw a weight around for 3 sets of 10, I’m actually working on what I need to work on.

    I competed in Doncaster’s strongest man this year and after only 4 months of training placed 6th out of 16. I’d highly recommend training with Andy.

    After being mentally in a bad place to now in a place I’m truly happy with everything I’ve done and the hard work I’ve put in.

    I’ve always considered Andy as an exquisite physique coach, however as a rugby league player and power lifter, I’ve been performance based rather than wanting a great physique – so I thought I’d throw Andy a curveball and ask him to put me a strength program together.

    This is Nathan’s 12 week results. Now, obviously, Nathan was in decent nick before we started. So this isn’t the most eye-catching transformation you’ll ever see. But he came to me in March looking to build some muscle without adding much body fat and without compromising his competitive swimming performance.

    Since then, he’s added 6.5lbs, not added much fat (at least I don’t think so, you be the judge), won multiple regional races, set swimming PBs and is a decent amount stronger. This is all on just 3 gym sessions a week.

    He’s been hella consistent with everything I’ve asked him to do, and worked unbelievably hard. For a lad of 21, well, he puts me to shame that’s for sure.

    Very proud of this guy 🙌🏻

    After initially coming up with both diet and workout plans to suit my ‘lifestyle’, he has continued to monitor and adjust them to help me gain the best results to achieve my goal in the given timeframe.

    If you’re like I was, telling yourself your going to start training, but next week “from Monday” but you don’t, then suddenly the weeks are flying by and you keep putting it off. Then before you know it your in your 30’s and you did nothing, maybe a couple of half arsed gym sessions or a jog to the shop for some beers. He’s there all the way through the journey with you, any help or questions and he gives me not just an answer but an explanation as to why I should try it this way.
